The Best Kind of Revenge:

The best way to getting back at anything, whether it is a bad break-up, a fight, or any form of evil deceit, is not to get even, but play the cards that you have. What I mean is, play up your assets. Nothing irritates more when you're looking good. Everyone has their areas that they love: waist, chest, butt, arms, or legs. You may play just one, or maybe you alternate between them. Use the weapons you have and I am positive it will bring you more satisfaction than any war or mischievous plan. Here's how:

The easiest way to show off your waist is with a great belt, waistline details, color contrasts, or fabrics that glide over your frame. Belts work to define your shape, whether thick or thin, when cinched at your natural waist over jackets, dresses, or blouses. If you want to make a strong impact (we are at war here, so yes), sharper color contrasts between tops and bottoms work better than a soft or subdued colors. A form-fitting light colored top creates a magical counter balance to a dark high waisted skirt. Make sure to steer clear of any unstructured dresses and tops (if they were tucked in than it works), for example, A-line tunics that are shapeless, chunky over-sized knits, or baggy blouses. These will defeat the purpose of definition.

No matter your cup-size, details and necklines will flatter your chest without revealing too much. Collarbones, I think, are as sexy as any cleavage. Compliment them both in v-necks and unbuttoned down collared shirts. This creates the illusion of a leaner torso, even if yours isn't so lean. A kimono style v-neck top uncovers just enough cleavage while elongating your frame. When playing up the girls, making sure everything else is clean and smooth is a must. Invest in a well-fitting bra that have sculpted, unseamed cup and straps that are too taught or too loose. Avoid high necklines like turtlenecks or yolk blouses, this make the bust appear as one big blob or even a uni-boob.

If your more curvy and have some junk in that trunk best to wear ruching, pocket designs, and seaming. Rouching along the entire back side adds voluptuousness without actually trying too hard. Deep yoke and simple large pockets or pants and jeans will really accents those curves, especially when they have outlined seams. Cropped jackets that hit slightly above your waist showcase your boudunk-a-dunk. Contoured seams like in a pencil skirt, bring attention to the back of the derriere and smooth out your stomach. Make sure to wear thongs or seamless briefs. Stay away from jeans or pants with flap pockets. This increases volume without defining your shape.

Do you have arms like the First Lady? Highlight your guns by framing them with cuts that contour and compliment them. Wear light colors on top and dark below to draw attention upward to your arms. An strong neckline or necklace also works well. Romantic ruffles on a sleeveless blouse or dress will accentuate upper arms. Try a one-shoulder dress instead of a strapless. This puts the focus on the arms instead of shoulders. A racer-back tank with a unique shapely cut lengthens arms and defines the shoulders. Keep in mind, when exposing your arms, keep them moisturized!

When giving your legs the spotlight, make sure to cover up your arms so they won't compete for attention. Play them up by wearing sheer, opaque, or textured tights under pencil skirt that hits the knee. A high waisted skirt adds inches to legs! Top it off with a jacket that hits the hemline of the skirt. Shorts expose a lot of leg, so cover up on top. Strapless skin-tone heels create a sleek look and line of the leg. When the weather is warmer and there are no tights to be found make sure to apply faux tanner. Avoid mid calf-length skirts and capris.

Wait and watch for my "best assets" look that I will be wearing out tomorrow night.

What will you be wearing for battle?
